The general purpose of the project BOLDIC – Open learning resources online – is to deepen and bring further the co-operation between the Nordic sister organisations dealing with distance education and eLearning by opening the community for partners from the Baltic countries.

It also aims at disseminating experiences from the completed NordPlus Voxen project Flexible Learning Network –Nordic Perspectives Online and Boldic Perspectives online project, which during the project period 2005 -2011 informally was called NordFlex.  By bringing in new players from the Baltics and from other sectors of educational and working life we want to deepen and develop the results of the earlier project.

Some of the suggested Baltic partners have been indirectly involved in the co-operation with the Minerva project BOLDIC Network which NordFlex built on.
